What is a Chuppah

The Chuppah used to shelter the couple while they say their vows in a Traditional Jewish Wedding Ceremony.  Being a symbol of unity and beginning.  The Chuppah is not required.  The Chuppah can be covered with something as a simple sheet held by some close friends of the bride and groom to very elaborate displays.
